3D PHOTOS ENGRAVED IN CRYSTAL FOR TOMBSTONES
3D gravestone photos are three-dimensional photos engraved in crystal statuettes to be placed on a tombstone. The engraving is made using a laser technique without disturbing the outer surface of the statuette. On the basis of a simple photo, we prepare a three-dimensional design and converted to a point cloud, we engrave inside the chosen statuette. The 3D design captures the actual proportions of the figure and looks phenomenal in the crystal, especially in the solid thickness where the correct width and height relationships of the face to depth can be reproduced. We offer different shapes as well as sizes of crystals to easily match the style and size of the tombstone.

3D TOMBSTONE PHOTO ADDITIONS
Depending on the character, interests and achievements of the person who has passed away, we can offer various additions. For the cardiac surgeon, we offer an impressive 3D Heart also engraved in a crystal block. For the ornithologist, we can engrave birds in the statuette of your choice while for the person in love with flowers, we can offer 3D Lilies. For the tombstone of a person for whom there was only one football club in the world, such as Real Madrid, we will engrave the stadium of that club. Of course, these are only selected proposals while the possibilities are unlimited in this regard.

3D PHOTOS IN MEMORIAL GLASS
We offer memorial photos to leave at home as a remembrance of a loved one who has passed away. Three-dimensional (3D) photos amazingly capture reality and bring back memories. For better highlighting the engraving in a statuette left at home, we offer LED stands. In the case of memorial photos, we also recommend engraving a short sentence under the photo, which will best reflect the character of the deceased person, and on the other hand, the feelings that this person left in us.

QUALITY OF UPLOADED PHOTOS
Images engraved in crystal statuettes are the result of firing hundreds of thousands to several million dots into the glass. The higher the resolution of the photo you get, the more burnt points there may be, and thus you will get a better quality final result.
Ideally, the order should be accompanied by the original photo in electronic form without compression or cropping.
Fulfillment of the order on the basis of a paper photo or its scan is also possible but the quality may be slightly weaker.
In case of scratches on the photo or minor damage, we will make a gentle retouching. On request, it is also possible to photomontage the garment.
In this technique, only black and white photos are obtained in crystal.

FOR WHICH MEMORIALS WE RECOMMEND 3D PHOTOS IN GLASS
A 3D photo engraved in glass is the result of laser firing hundreds of thousands or several million dots into the glass. It's a kind of hologram that is more or less visible depending on the access of light and a lighter or darker background. Burned in glass dots are white so we recommend mounting photos in crystal on dark monuments. On light-colored plates the engraving will be poorly visible therefore in such cases it is necessary to order from the stonemason an additional dark plate made of glass or stone as a background for the photo-crystal.

WHAT IT IS AND HOW PATTERN TRACING WORKS?
We can locate the 3D photo crystal on the monument in 2 ways - with the front or back to the visitors. If we position the photo with the back to the visitors then we will get the so-called "eye-walking" effect, that is, a certain illusion that the figure from the photo is looking at us, and as we walk by he follows us with his eyes. The effect of eye-rolling in reality is phenomenal and surprisingly real - all the more apparent the larger the crystal we use.
In this position, viewed from the side, it can be seen that the profile of the face is facing the tombstone vertical plate.

INSTALLATION OF 3D PHOTO ON MONUMENT
We always recommend that the issue of installation be discussed and agreed in advance with the tombstone manufacturer. It is then necessary to agree on what kind of glue we use to connect the glass to the stone, whether we mount the crystal on a shelf or on a pedestal, and if the tombstone is light-colored then what kind of plate is to be mounted behind the crystal as a background for the engraving (black glass, dark stone, etc.).). Lighter and smaller sized photocrystals are suggested to be mounted on a specially prepared stone shelf fixed to the main vertical plate. Larger and heavier crystals are best placed on pedestals made of the same stone as the monument and located on the main horizontal slab. If the monument has a light-colored horizontal slab then the pedestal must be dark to provide a background for the white engraving.
NOTES: * The crystal must be glued to the plate very carefully so that no water can collect between the base of the crystal and the plate. *

FEATURES OF CRYSTAL USED FOR 3D PHOTOGRAPHY
The crystal glass we use for 3D photography is highly resistant to changing thermal conditions, both freezing and high temperatures. The engraving is made inside the glass block without disturbing its outer surface, which protects the statuette from moisture penetration inside and cracks due to water freezing during the winter season. For 3D laser engraving we use high quality K9 or BK7 grade crystal without impurities, cracks, structure inhomogeneities and with high transparency. Single, small air bubbles are possible. K9 is a Chinese name and BK7 is an American name. Due to its very good performance and resistance to minimum and maximum temperatures, this glass is used in the manufacture of heat-resistant glass, laboratory glass, as well as in the production of heat shields mounted on space shuttles.
